What to Expect on a Sunday Morning

We believe that life is a journey and no one should have to walk alone; so simply put, we are a church filled with imperfect people who are learning what it means to follow Jesus and take our next steps on our walk with God together. At Meadowland we strive to be a place where lives are changed by Jesus and disciples of Jesus are made.

This is a place full of people who care more about your future than we do your past! Following Jesus is a life marked by change and next steps as we grow in our understanding of our purpose, growing in our relationships with God and with others, and coming to know who Jesus is and why its important to our lives. Everything about our worship gatherings, growth process, community service, and teaching is driven by our desire to help people take the next step on their spiritual journey.

Meadowland is filled with people just like you. Come as you are and join us on the Journey!

Frequently asked questions

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear whatever you are most comfortable with. Each Sunday people wear everything from a suit and tie to their favorite sports team apparel. We are much more concerned about what's going on inside of a person than what they are wearing on the outside. Our pastor often wears jeans.

WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE?

On any given Sunday our team plays worship songs in a style that we hope will best connect with our community. The point of the music on Sunday morning is to help lead us into worship of God with relevant music and lyrics that are deep in meaning yet easy to understand.

ARE MY KIDS WELCOME IN SERVICE?

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your children into service with you on Sunday morning. Our Meadowland Kids ministry does offer a safe and amazing option for your children where they can worship and learn with other children in an environment that is set up specifically for kids. You can learn more about that in our Meadowland Kids section of our website. We are a family friendly church.

IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIAL I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE I VISIT?

Nope, just come as you are. There are no secret handshakes or things you need to know in advance. You will be welcomed and accepted whether it is your first time or your thousandth time walking through the door. All are welcome.
